She may be touring the world as a solo artist, but at least Beyoncé Knowles has her baby daughter to keep her company.

care-free.

At her concert in Nashville, Tennessee, the superstar said, ‘I’d like to have a moment of silence for Trayvon’ who was shot and killed while unarmed by a neighbourhood watch patrol officer.

And Knowles wasn’t the only musician to use their stage as a platform to share their ill-feelings towards Zimmerman’s acquittal.
Nas dedicated one of his songs at Yahoo! Wireless Festival to the departed teenager, followed by Q-Tip from A Tribe Called Quest who also said their set was a tribute to Trayvon, but also took the opportunity to ask the crowd to ‘pray for America’.
Beyoncé’s husband Jay-Z shouted ‘RIP Trayvon Martin’ before changing from a white shirt and Brooklyn Nets cap into a black and white T-shirt which read ‘Blame Society’.
