COUNTDOWN OF INTERNATIONAL TOP MOVIE EARNING FOR 2013

History was made!!!
FAST & FURIOUS 6 grossed $25.6M at 3,742 dates in 34 territories and raised the international total to $503,684,005.* We had a record-breaking No. 1 opening in China on Friday. In its first 3 days, it grossed $24.3M at 3,000 dates including an outstanding $3M from IMAX. It is Universal’s biggest opening ever in this market and the 2nd biggest 3-day result for a non-Chinese film in 2013, behind Iron Man 3 and ahead of blockbusters like Skyfall, The Hobbit, Man of Steel and Star Trek Into Darkness. Japan continues its great run, holding strong at No. 2 in week 4 with a weekend gross of $1M at 323 dates, -32% for a 23-day total of $17.8M. Combined with the U.S. gross of $237.6M, FAST 6’s worldwide total is $741.3M. China is the final theatrical release and the 66th No. 1 opening for FAST 6.

INTERNATIONAL TOP 10: THE WOLVERINE opened at No. 1 with $86.1M at 15,152 dates in 101 territories. FAST & FURIOUS 6 is No. 2 with $25.6M in 34 territories for a total of $503.7M. DESPICABLE ME 2 is No. 3 with $25.2M in 50 territories for a total of $355.2M. WHITE HOUSE DOWN is No. 4 with $19.8M in 42 territories for a total of $45.6M. MONSTERS UNIVERSITY is No. 5 with $15.6M in 46 territories for a total of $321.6M. PACIFIC RIM is No. 6 with $14.3M at 6,903 dates in 51 territories for a total of $140M. TURBO is No. 7 with $12.5M at 6,222 dates in 29 territories for a total of $42.8M. THE CONJURING is No. 8 with $6.9M at 1,300 dates in 7 territories for a total of $12.1M. RED 2 is No. 9 with $6.1M in 16 territories for a total of $17.5M. WORLD WAR Z is No. 10 with $5.6M at 4,550 dates in 60 territories for a total of $280.4M.
